Guidance and Controls (PG&C) Center within the Systems
Engineering and Test Capabilities Directorate consists of Guidance,
Navigation, and Control; Signal Processing; and Modeling and
Simulation disciplines for Effectors. The PG&C Center is hiring
a Sr. Systems Engineer; Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis - Sim
Product Owner to provide simulated environments for testing of
missile effectors through 6DOF modeling, scene modeling, and
hardware modeling while testing software in simulation
capabilities. As the Sr. Systems Engineer; Modeling, Simulation,
and Analysis - Sim Product Owner you will serve as a lead product
owner to the current Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis lead,
having ownership of development and execution of a Naval Power
program. This position is an onsite role based in Tucson, AZ. What
You Will Do You will act as a recognized Modeling, Simulation and
Analysis subject matter expert responsible for the budget,
schedule, development, execution, and completion of complex program
objectives. You will develop and use credible simulation models to
estimate system and sub-system level performance for a myriad of
systems and provide pre and post flight test predictions. You will
participate in production, engineering, and field-test environments
to test, verify, and validate requirements for system performance
requirements You will collaborate in all development phases from
proposals to live-fire testing, making improvements to processes
and providing signal processing expertise for BOEs, design reviews,
peer reviews, and technical briefings to internal and external
customers. You will lead, or be able to lead, a technical team,
mentor engineers, and/or manage an engineering project.
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s in
Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience Experience on a
missile program Experience designing, developing, and validating
Simulations to Government standards Experience with high level
order languages and other languages such as C, C++, and Python in a
Linux environment Experience with design and analysis for 6DOF
simulations Experience leading others in technical and/or
functional capacities within an engineering environment Experience
with Design of Experiments and High Processor Computing resources
Current and active U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance
is required with the ability to obtain program access after start.
Qualifications We Prefer An Advanced Degree in Electrical
Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical
Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics Experience
using MATLAB and/or Python for evaluation and analysis of data sets

salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
