safer, more secure world. The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE)
Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for
developing test solutions for all Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD)
products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and
tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most
advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are located
in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments
utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification,
test data analysis, and production test solution development. TEE
has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering
lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests,
design verification tests, production, and sustainment. TEE is
looking for Principal Mechanical Engineers to be responsible for
designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining complex test
environment systems for all Raytheon effector products. What You
Will Do Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems
in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal,
hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production
testing environments. Integrate and validate test systems against
stringent accuracy and reliability requirements. Evaluate
production installations and recommend design modifications to
eliminate malfunctions. Qualifications You Must Have Typically
requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering,
or Mathematics (STEM). Minimum of eight (8) years of technical /
engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production
support. Minimum of five (5) years experience with CAD solid
modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO
Parametric. Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerance
analysis. Experience creating mechanical drawing packages. The
ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security
clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We
Prefer Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging.
Experience with Configuration Management processes, application,
and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM). Experience in Model Based
Engineering or Model Based Design. Experience in mechanical
sub-systems packaging, materials, thermal analysis, structural
analysis, control systems, electrical hardware design, or large
assembly development. Experience with environmental stress
screening of hardware (e.g., vibration, shock, thermal, etc.).
Systems engineering experience. Knowledge of basic management
approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and
process execution. Experience in proposal development and the first
four gates within the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS).
Experience with providing guidance and assistance to less
experienced professionals and/or support employees. What We Offer

204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
