Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Compunnel Healthcare Pay: $2,200 to $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry (Float Pool, Nights) Facility: Northwest Medical Center (Float Pool across Oro Valley, Houghton, Sahuarita) Location: Tucson, AZ Type: Travel Contract | Duration: 13 Weeks Projected Start Date: 9/29/2025 Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s) Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Position Summary The Med-Surg/Telemetry RN provides safe, effective, and patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the Nursing Process. The RN demonstrates sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, state Nurse Practice Acts, and quality standards. This is a float pool position — RNs must be flexible and willing to float between four facilities within the Northwest Medical network. Float Details Primary Departments: Med-Surg (Ortho/Neuro), Telemetry May Float To: PCU or ED holding area (for admitted patients) Typical Float Frequency: Assigned to one unit per shift; occasional mid-shift reassignment possible based on census Ratios: Med-Surg/Telemetry: 1:6 ED Holding Area: 1:4–5 Requirements License: Active Arizona RN License (or Compact) Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; Telemetry experience required EMR: Cerner Scrubs: Any color Additional Info Start within 2 weeks of offer preferred Position Type: Travel – Contractor Replacement
