Canyon Vista Medical Center was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital on what was then the eastern edge of Sierra Vista. Growth and advancing technology dictated building our new 177,000 square foot hospital at 5700 E Hwy 90 completed in 2015. How you'll contribute The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, plans, and delivers evidence?based physical therapy interventions to patients across acute hospital, acute rehabilitation, inpatient, medical?surgical, and outpatient care settings. This role conducts comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, pain management, and overall functional independence. The PT collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team, participates in discharge planning, and educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies. This position ensures accurate, timely documentation and maintains compliance with regulatory and facility standards while delivering high?quality, patient?centered care.
