Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work varied schedule including weekends and holidays per department requirements • Must have recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for NICU patients • Provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned neonatal patients • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team • Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other healthcare personnel • Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with policy • Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel • Current RN license required in state of practice or compact state licensure • BLS certification required • Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Professional certification preferred Facility: This major medical center operates a specialized Level III/IV NICU providing comprehensive neonatal intensive care services.
