Volt is immediately hiring Assembly Technician in (Tempe, AZ)

Description:
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Overall Summary Entry-level support individual contributor.
Work is closely supervised. Work consists of tasks that are routine. Explains facts and practices related to job area.
Nature of Supervision Works with close supervision on routine tasks. Detailed instructions are provided, and close peer review is required.
Communication & Influence Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
Innovation & Complexity Work consists of tasks that are routine.
Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures.


Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.


This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
